The Master course in Digital Environment Design develops a curriculum aimed at projecting and representation of environment and digital contents, chosen for interactive and virtual realization of scene design, museum spaces and exhibition mounting. In this background the work is the one of the Cultural Heritage and of interactive and multimodal Story Telling with the forms of new spectacularity. This Master course offers an innovative approach to studies in which research and experiment are linked in elaboration of “object-event”. It is not characterized as structured and defined by physical elements space, but rather as open space comprising also new streams of communication.
While doing this course the students will experiment with the models of representing the digital environments marked by one of aesthetic dimensions, which has been very significant in the recent years. It is the interactive one that requires first of all the interdisciplinary interface design that needs a continuous syncratical action between arts and scientific research.
The course, being aimed at designers, architects, scene-designers, authors and multimedia designers is realized in collaboration with the most interesting digital design research groups dealing with both performance side and production of exhibition, theatre and museum design. The studies based on developing design projects and doing internship help to enrich the professional portfolio of the participants.
