Specialised Two-year program Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies
Starting from January 2008
Specialised Two-year program in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies Under Construction Show is the only study program in Europe associating the education in production of visual arts with highly specialized curatorial program. The course tends to develop the competence of artists and curators beginning with constructing exhibition space as a unique and divided field in which the staff and the attitude of both are seen in interaction. Through a wide spectrum of knowledge and strategies the course suggests a series of theoretical lessons, laboratories and exhibitions that will be held due to collaboration of European artistic institutions, some of which are: Institute of Contemporary Art of London, Portikus in Frankfurt and NCCA of Moscow. The two-year programs offer a series of Departments of interdisciplinary kind aimed at producing new working and educational models in the field of contemporary arts.
Internship at an art gallery, foundation and participation in international projects help to enrich the artistic and professional portfolio of the participants. The student can have studies in other European universities and academies collaborating with NABA.
