Into the landscape - 3 architectures: from design to realization
Seljord (Norway), September 25th – October 4th, 2009
In the natural environment that surrounds the Seljord lake, an enchanted landscape, the participants were asked to design and build at full scale three structures :
- a night shelter for fishermen, with fireplace, in close proximity to a very good place for fishing
- a sauna, in close proximity to a very good place for swimming
- an information point, with basic services, in close proximity to a place of historical value.
The workshop was coordinated by SAMI RINTALA (www.rintalaeggertsson.com), architect and artist of international relevance, who took part to the VII Biennale di Venezia.

Darsena EcoSocialLab - July
An investigation on Milan's Darsena, one of the few water bassins still uncovered in Milan, currently unavailable for citizens, and at the center of a debate about its present and future. Students of Photography&Visual Design and Landscape Design Master courses, under the guidance of the Spanish group Ecosistema Urbano, realized a visual and spoken enquiry about people's feelings, souvenirs and desires of Darsena.
All the information related to the "Extraordinary Landscapes" Master program refer to the current edition (academic year 2009-2010), whose enrolments have been closed on April 16th, 2009. For updated information please visit www.paesaggistraordinari.org.
