Film and New Media

The Film and New Media two-year Master of Arts degree provides participants the opportunity of deepening critical and design processes knowledge, in order to reach a complete personal and professional development, associating a critical-methodological background to a range of technical and project skills in the fields of video and new media art. Thanks to the cooperation with external companies and institutions, participants face the real issues of video and film authorship and production, learning to develop the right skills required within the contemporary field of media studies and practice.

Trained professional profiles: author, director, scriptwriter, scenarist, new media communication project designers, media editor for creative factories, communication agencies, art and culture studios.
Main areas of study:
documentary film and video, art cinema, storytelling media studies, new media sociology, media aesthetic, multimedia arts, new media art, interaction design, media editing and producing.
Duration: two academic years (18 months).
Yearly schedule: 600 class hours and 900 hours including individual study, teamwork and internship.
Educational credits: 120.
